It was Srila Prabhupada's desire that ISKCON establish educational colleges in Sri Mayapur to train the devotees in deity worship and brahminical culture. By assisting in fulfilling Srila Prabhupada's desires, once certainly receives immense spiritual benefit: mahat sevam dvaram ahur vimukte - service to the great souls opens the door to liberation.
Srila Prabhupada also expressed, very early in the movement, that ISKCON must continue to "boil down the milk", or "thicken" the devotees devotion and commitment by increasing spiritual standards of sadhana and purity. The Mayapur Academy is directly aimed at this goal of continually deepening devotees' sense of purpose and focus on brahminical standards, which will ensure a bright future for the movement.
Here is a list of possible sponsorship items. Some of these expenses are regular monthly expenses, while some are once off capital expenditures. Please select the item you would like to sponsor, or alternatively select a regular monthly donation to help with maintenance costs of the Academy. (All costs are shown in US dollars)
